Dernière ligne droite

Les choses avancent... Il est temps de rentrer à Paris et de d'écrire de nouveaux chapitres, à la suite de ces trois années riches en expériences diverses et en émotions. La chance de réaliser un projet artistique, de rencontrer des musiciens de talents, de tisser de nouvelles amitiés. Et puis, finir en beauté... Un Festival de songwriter à BATON ROUGE (Third Street Festival) fin avril, puis des répétitions en vue du JazzFest, où avec mes complices Dion et Chris, il nous a été demandé d'accompagner la chorale de l'Ecole Bilingue pour une représentation célébrant la musique française et francophone (Goldman, Téléphone, Stromae...).

Aussi, était prévu avant ce concert, une répétition - concert en Live, à PEACHES RECORDS ! Et ce, la semaine où Christophe MAE venait donner un concert à la House of Blues. Qui ne voit-on pas se joindre à nous lors de ce concert ? Ledit Christophe nous rejoignant avec son harmonica pour un jam sur le "I'm walking to New Orleans" de Fats Domino ! Un moment vraiment sympa !

Et la semaine se poursuit avec le concert au Jazz Fest ce mardi 3 mai ! Un super moment, des loges rien que pour nous, au milieu d'un line up impressionnant où la soirée se finie sur un "All Night long" d'un Lionel Richie nostalgique brillant sous les projecteurs de la scène...

Une semaine qui va se terminer par ma session acoustique mensuelle au Neutral Ground, vraisemblablement le dernier... Mon arrivée à Paris étant prévue début juin... Avec des séances d'enregistrements d'ores et déjà pour finir (enfin !) l'album "Terminal Sud"...

Mais avant cela, un dernier concert, entre amis, pour un dernier adieu avant de nouvelles aventures...

Things are moving forward... It is time to return to Paris and to write new chapters, following these three years rich in various experiences and emotions. The chance to make an artistic project, to meet talented musicians, to weave new friendships. And then, finish in beauty... A songwriting festival in BATON Rouge (Third Street Festival) at the end of April, then rehearsals for the JazzFest, where with my accomplices Dion and Chris, we were asked to accompany the choir of the bilingual School for a performance celebrating music French and Francophone (Goldman, Téléphone, Stromae...).

Also, was planned before this concert, a live rehearsal-concert, at Peaches RECORDS! And this is the week that Christophe MAE came to give a concert at the House of Blues. Who do we not see joining us at this concert? Said Christophe joining us with his harmonica for a jam on the "I'm walking to New Orleans " by Fats Domino! A really nice time!

And the week continues with the concert at the Jazz Fest this Tuesday, May 3! A great time, boxes just for us, in the middle of an impressive line up where the evening ends on a "All Night long " of a nostalgic Lionel Richie shining under the spotlight of the stage...

A week that will end with my monthly acoustic session at Neutral Ground, presumably the last... My arrival in Paris is scheduled for early June... With recording sessions already booked (finally!) the album "Terminal Sud "...

But before that, one last concert, among friends, for a final farewell before New Adventures...
